2023 Toyota Tacoma Redesign and Specs
The Toyota Tacoma is one of the most well-known pickup trucks of the mid-size range and has many passionate fans. But the Tacoma is old and badly in need of a new design. Thankfully, however, it is likely that Tacoma is expected to undergo an overhaul that will be significant in 2023’s model year. Find out the date of release, price, specifications, and new features for the new 2023 Toyota Tacoma.
When will the 2023 Toyota Tacoma be released and available?

The most recent version of the medium-sized truck will be offered at Toyota dealerships across the United States and at select international markets.
What is the price of a 2023’s Toyota Tacoma cost?
Toyota hasn’t released the price of its 2023 Tacoma yet. However, given the expected design changes and significant feature upgrades, the 2023 Tacoma will likely be slightly more expensive than the 2022 Tacoma. Pricing for the 2022 Tacoma varies from $26,000 MSRP in SR Access Cab trim to $36,135 MSRP in SR Access Cab trim to $46,135 MSRP in the TRD Pro Double Cab model.
2023 Toyota Tacoma Redesign and specs: New engine options
The engines available to the buyers of the 2022 Tacoma, which are the base 2.7-liter four-cylinder and the available 3.5-liter V6 — represent the main flaws of this mid-sized truck. Particularly the V-6 of the 2022 Tacoma has lower power than its rivals with the V-6.
Toyota is likely to fix this flaw in the 2020’s Tacoma. Car and Driver indicated that the 2023 Tacoma might come with a turbocharged engine like the 2.4-liter version of the Lexus NX350, which generates 317 Lb-ft of torque. Like the newly designed 2022 Tundra, the 2023 Tacoma might come with a more robust hybrid version of the V6 engine. Toyota will likely release an electric variant of the Tacoma as well, but this is expected to be delayed until at least the model’s 24th year.
As with the 2022 Tacoma and the 2022 Tacoma, the 2023 Tacoma will also feature a body-on-frame construction. The mid-sized truck may eliminate the leaf-spring suspension and be replaced with a coil-spring rest, providing more excellent handling and a more comfortable ride.
The 2023 Tacoma is expected to come with an improved version of its automatic transmission, one of the 2022 Tacoma’s weaknesses. Additionally, Tacoma is the only midsize truck that offers a manual transmission. Tacoma has the sole mid-sized truck with a manual transmission. Because of the popularity of manuals among Tacoma lovers, Tacoma is likely to have a manual available for 2023.
2023 Toyota Tacoma redesign: What does it look like?
Toyota has yet to reveal any photos or videos of the 2023 Tacoma. We expect the 2023 Tacoma will share certain features of the 2022 Tundra. This includes a grille similar to the 2022 Tundra, fender bulges, and lighting. Additionally, it is expected that the 2023 Tacoma will be equipped with the TNGA-F structure that supports the 2022 Tundra, the 2023 Sequoia 2022 Lexus LX, and the global 2022 Land Cruiser.
Interior-wise For the interior, the 2023 Tacoma could have similar enhancements to that of 2022’s Tundra. This will include better quality materials as well as more contemporary options, including the possible inclusion of a more giant 14.0-inch touchscreen.
We’ll update you when more information about the 2023 Toyota Tacoma becomes available.
