2024 Honda CR V Redesign Price Review
Indeed, the Honda CR-V isn’t as fun to drive as its competitors. However, this doesn’t mean that it’s a fantastic all-around SUV.
How do I know the name CR-V?
It’s Honda CR-V may define the 5-seat, two-row crossover SUV better than other competing vehicles. It introduced the initial generation in 1995 in the year 1995; then Honda has been sticking to its winning formula since then.
In the past, the CR-V has increased in size, incorporated more security features, and came with more powerful engines. But each CR-V retains its original essential characteristics: It’s simple to operate, simple to manage, and enjoyable to drive and offers excellent value too.

Honda claims that the front seats have been designed to reduce fatigue for drivers during long journeys and that the CR-V’s driver positioning is enhanced. Between the front seats is a big center console, and behind it are reclining rear seats that offer an additional 0.6 inches of legroom in the rear compared to the previous CR-V.

There is the equivalent of 36 cubes of space for cargo at the end of the row behind and 39 cubic feet on gas-only models with the load floor adjustable at its lowest point.
Engine Performance, Transmission
Behind the CR-V’s upright grille is a standard 190-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder. It pairs with a CVT and either front- or all-wheel drive. This configuration is standard on EX and the EXL variants.
For the Sport and Sport Touring only feature the hybrid powertrain. It includes a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors, resulting in an aggregate of 204 horsepower. The Sport is available with front-wheel and all-wheel-drive; this latter option is standard on Sport Touring.
In our testing, it was able to Sport Touring Hybrid hit 60 speed in just 7.9 seconds. All CR-Vs have hill-descent controls, which help to regulate the SUV’s pace when it encounters difficult or slippery slopes while moving at low speeds. Most models come with 18-inch wheels, and the Sport wears black ones.
In addition, the Sport Touring gets exclusive 19 inches which is also black. Hybrid models come certified to tow 1000 pounds this first time. While it isn’t as responsive to the thrills we enjoy with other models, such as the Mazda CX-50 and the Volkswagen Tiguan, the latest CR-V is smooth and has enough grit not to be boring.
Connectivity and Information
The CR-V’s infotainment system functions via the 7.0-inch touchscreen in the EX and Sport trim levels. The system has tuned knobs, volume buttons, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
These EX-L and Sport Touring models have a 9.0-inch touchscreen, which is connected to wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Although the larger screen doesn’t have a tuning knob, there’s a volume control integrated with the navigation system, two USB-C ports to accommodate rear-seat passengers, and wireless charging for smartphones. If you want the Bose 12-speaker sound system, opt for the best-of-the-best CR-V Sport Touring.
