2024 Jeep Gladiator Review
What exactly is what is Jeep Gladiator?
The Jeep Gladiator looks a bit like a Wrangler running through one of Wonka’s machines for pulling taffy. The Gladiator is designed to fit the off-road capabilities of the Wrangler into the functionally-focused body of a mid-sized pickup.
It’s hard to find a vehicle as attractive as the Jeep in this class. There’s a rumor that the Gladiator will get a hybrid engine in the 2024’s model year.
What’s the deal? If you’re a true Wrangler fan, you’ve already figured it out. One of the perks of driving the Jeep is that it’s tough and lives in the rough.
If a trip to the supermarket, which flings you around as if you’re carrying a loose bag of veggies, isn’t your idea for an enjoyable experience, the Gladiator may not be the vehicle for you. The Gladiator is designed for off-roading, and its comfort on the road takes adversity.
What’s new in 2024?
The biggest news is the fact that the hybrid powertrain could arrive. It’s yet to be confirmed by Jeep, and since we were pretty sure it would appear in the Gladiator for the model year 2023, but it didn’t happen, we’re not going to be adamant about the hybrid wolf once more.
If the Gladiator is equipped with a hybrid engine in 2024, it’ll adopt it of the Wrangler. In the meantime, the Wrangler 4xe, a hybrid for the rest of us, is equipped with electric motors connected to a turbocharged four-cylinder motor and an eight-speed gearbox. The Gladiator will likely have the same configuration.
If the Wrangler of 2023 gets any new goodies, they’ll make it onto the 2024 Gladiator too. The Gladiator 4xe, however, is the most talked about speculation. Stay tuned for all the information on 2024’s Gladiator as the updates come in.
